and<\/li>\n<li>Regarding an employee, or an applicant, in connection with the operation of a federal work, undertaking or business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The PIPEDA does not apply to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Any government institution to the extent where the Privacy Act applies;<\/li>\n<li>Any individual who collects, uses or discloses personal information for personal or domestic purposes; identifying purposes; consent; limiting collection; limiting use, disclosure and retention; accuracy; safeguards; openness; individual access; and challenging compliance.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Individual rights<\/h4>\n<p>At the request of individuals, PIPEDA requires organizations to grant them their right to access information about themselves and the right to data correction.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\t\n\n\t<section id=\"block_d60067a099855f0590cb26ee23bf4657\" class=\"columns-two\" style=\"padding-top:0;\">\n\t\t<div class=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Form of consent<\/h4>\n<p>Depending on the context, PIPEDA requires organizations to seek expressed consent from individuals prior to processing sensitive personal information; consent cannot be obtained in a timely manner; and<\/li>\n<li>The personal information was made publicly
